Seamless Steel Pipe

Steel pipes are ubiquitous and can be found underground and within residential walls, laboratories, and commercial and industrial structures. The pipes transport fluids including water, natural gas, waste and air. Three manufacturing methods exist to produce steel pipes. Seamless steel pipes are produced using an extrusion mold. Welded steel pipes are produced by rolling a sheet of steel into a tube and welding the seam. These pipes are less expensive. The third method is casting. Molten steel is poured into a casting mold. This is not very common today.

Seamless (SMLS) Steel Pipe is made from a solid round steel ‘billet’ which is heated and pushed or pulled over a form until the steel is shaped into a hollow tube. The seamless pipe is then finished to dimensional and wall thickness specifications in sizes from 1/8 inch to 36 inch OD.The Grade includes A106 GR.B ,A53 GR.B,A500 GR.B,API 5L BR.B ,GB/T8163;GB-T8162 10# 20# 45# Q235 Q195 Q345
